View All Critic Reviews Jul 26, For me, it turned out to be an average thriller, with okay performances. That you can see the twist coming was not as much a problem as its pacing. Relatively necessary sequences were rushed through, while hardly important scenes were allotted unnecessarily more time. Besides, the over-exposure was exceedingly forced in with the "script's requirement" excuse. Other than that, it's quite watchable; just hope enough is left.

La Sconosciuta is dark, mysterious at least for the first half of it and tragic. Any information on the story may be a spoiler so i'll skip to salute the wonderful directorial work and screenplay from Tornatore.
This isn't by any means even close to Cinema Paradiso, his chef-d'oeuvre, his masterpiece, his jewel ; but it's still one very good movie. He plans to rescue Gundhi and win her heart but this is a tough job as Gundhi's mother is one of the fiercest mobsters of India.
With the help of a Turkish municipality worker in Mumbai, Fadil and Hulusi get entangled in numerous adventures as they try to reach Gundhi. Laughter ensues once Fadil's parents arrive in town.
